Overview
These terms cover any detail you book with Peanut Detailing, a mobile auto detailing service in Nassau and Suffolk County, New York. By sending a booking request or letting us work on your vehicle, you agree to them.
Requests and booking
- Sending the request form doesn't book an appointment. Your appointment is booked once we confirm a date, time and price with you and send a "You're booked" email.
- Requests need at least one day's notice. We'll do our best to fit your preferred date and time.
- We serve Nassau and Suffolk County. For addresses outside that area, reach out first and we'll let you know if we can make it work.
Pricing and estimates
- Prices are set by vehicle size. The estimate on our site is based on the size you choose.
- If your vehicle is a different size than selected, or needs much more work than a maintenance detail (heavy pet hair, sand, mold or deep stains), we'll tell you the price change before we start. You can approve it, skip the extra work, or reschedule.
- Add-on prices depend on your vehicle's condition and are confirmed before we begin.
- Code 2026 takes 40% off any detail package for details done by December 31, 2026. It doesn't apply to add-ons and can't be combined with other offers.
What we need from you
- An outdoor power outlet we can use at the service address. An outdoor water spigot is preferred. Without one, we use a rinseless wash, which works best on regularly maintained cars.
- A safe, legal place to work with room to walk all the way around the vehicle.
- Valuables and personal items removed before we arrive.
- Permission to work at the address, if you don't own or control the property.
If we can't access power or the vehicle when we arrive, we may need to reschedule.
Payment
Payment is due when the job is done, after you've had a chance to look over your vehicle.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Please give us at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule.
- To cancel or reschedule, reply to your booking email or call or text us.
- If rain or bad weather is expected, we'll reach out beforehand and reschedule at no charge.
- If we need to cancel or run late, we'll let you know as early as possible.
Vehicle condition
- We'll walk around the vehicle with you or on our own before starting and point out any existing damage we notice.
- Detailing cleans and protects. It won't remove scratches, dents, chips, rock damage, faded or failing paint, or permanent stains, and it can make existing flaws easier to see.
- Loose trim, aftermarket parts and previous repairs can be fragile. Let us know about anything we should be careful with.
If something isn't right
If you're not happy with any part of the work, tell us within 24 hours and we'll come back and make it right.
